First Day in Quito

I got into Quito last night. It felt like a long long trip since I got up at 4am and took the train from New Haven, CT to NYC to get over to JFK airport. We spent the day exploring Quito which was much fun. We went to the Basílíca del Voto Nacíonal cathedral. you pay $2 for a ticket and then you can explore pretty much anywhere inside the cathedral. In the next few days we'll be climbing some of the Mountains in the area. Cotapaxi, and chimborazo to name a few.
